DVD Slide Shows
| A unique way to commemorate an event is with a custom DVD slideshow.
They can be used as favors, gifts, part of the event invitation, or as part of
the event it's self.
The slide show uses anywhere from 30-50 photographs which gently transition into one another with music in the background. This can be played on any conventional DVD player on a television screen or computer anywhere in your home. DVD Slide Shows are composed of your photographs and slides, we have the ability to add background music and text throughout the slideshow. Most importantly, our slideshows play on conventional DVD players, so you don't need a computer to view them. Do you need to photo's in an electronic format? No, you can bring them to us in a shoebox if you like. We have the equipment available to scan in photos and slides. We can try and improve the quality of photographs to the best of our ability but we are not experts in this field. |

This is what we need to meet your expectations.
If possible we would like photographs be in "slideshow" order, preferably numbered on the back.
When we deal with mixed media (slides and photo's) we would like a list accompanying the order so we are sure to have the pictures in the order you prefer.
If you are not exactly sure what you want, or if there is any narrative you want to include, don't worry. That is why you meet with us. If you come to the door with a pile of pictures and no idea where to begin, we will help you figure it out, so don't be intimidated
Time Frame-*other than for Funerals
This process takes 2 meetings minimum. The first meeting, we review your photos discuss your concept, music, and the look of the piece. Then 3-5 days later we meet again to take a look at what we came up with. (This also includes cover and label design). At that time we edit and make changes to the slideshow. If they are significant, We will ask that you come by one more time for a final look before we finalize the DVD's. We anticipate 5-7 days to complete the project but reserve the right to extend the time period if necessary. But the time period will be agreed to prior to the order being finalized.
Shorter turnaround time is available. We can discuss that at the first meeting. Rush job have a 10% charge added.*
*Jobs associated with funerals are automatically considered rush jobs and are never charged a rush fee. We intend 24 hour turnaround for funeral projects and guarantee that the DVD to be played during the viewing will be ready.
What would you use a custom DVD slideshow for?
Graduation
As Part of an Invitation- a slideshow of school pictures which lead up to your the announcement of your graduate's special day.
Favor-This DVD can be a gift to your guests as they receive their invitation, or as a favor for friends and family at the graduation party afterward.
Gift- Later, photo's from the graduation can be added to send as gifts to relatives and friends who were unable to attend.
Wedding
As Part of an Invitation- Can be enclosed with the invitation, showing telling the story of the couple with pictures and show the locations of the wedding events.
Favor-A story in pictures can be a truly personal gift to your family and friends. You can show not only what brought you together but include snapshots of memorable events that you participated in as a couple before your wedding.
Gift-Give friends and family a special wedding "video" composed of your favorite wedding photos set to music.
New Baby
Birth Announcements-Include a DVD Slide Show with birth announcements for people who live at a great distance or who won't have an opportunity to visit the baby as soon as you would like.
Baptism/ Christenings/Religious Milestones-DVD Slideshow of these important events in your child's life will be a precious addition to everyone's DVD library.
Anniversary
Invitations-Send along with the invitation a tribute to the marriage of the couple you are honoring.
Favor at the event-Combine with the photo's of the couple throughout their marriage, pictures of them with their dearest friends who have been invited to join them at the party. The DVD can be easily shown on a Lap Top computer or a Television with a DVD player. Then given to the guests as a gift to take home
Funeral or Memorial Service
A common sight at viewings at funeral homes or memorial services are the collages of pictures displayed, showing the deceased at different times of their life, on different occasions surrounded by family and friends. These collages with pictures, gathered from photo albums and assembled in frames or arranged on bulletin boards, have become a standard part of any viewing or memorial service.
Now there is another option. In the same amount of time it takes to organize photographs on a bulletin board, you can gather those pictures to be transformed into a DVD slide show.
Much of the time the photos the family shares during a viewing, are a view of the individual few on the outside have ever seen. This is an opportunity to share with your family and friends the images that are most precious to you, and that tell the story of your loved ones life.
